This year’s participants for our new Youth to Alaska project were Carrie Bangert, Maik and Melanie Gruft, Elizabeth Annas, Liz Falconer, Jake Przywara, Jenna Rinkinen, Robert Thompson and Megan Williams From July 2nd – 11th they worked alongside of Pastor Todd Roeske, a missionary in Alaska. They ran a week-long vacation bible school, teaching children of all ages.

Participants for our new Youth to Lithuania project were Pastor Thoma, Joe Bangert, David Appold, Liz Falconer, Josh Haller and Christa O’Parka. From June 17th – 27th they worked with Pastor Romas Lechavicius of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lithuania (ELCL). Similar to Alaska, they ran a vacation bible school, but for unchurched high schoolers.

Participants for Youth to North Carolina included Nicole Spangler, Machell Baird, Rachael Asher, Sarah Foradori, Katie Yeates and Luke Nichols. They served the people of Appalachia by installing septic systems and doing home repair. Their servant event dates were July 11th – 22nd.
