Each summer. we send a group to North Carolina to serve in one of the synodical servant events. Additionally, in 2009, we began sending a group of adults and youth to Alaska to work with Alaksa Missions for Christ to lead VBS style camps for the native Alaskans.

Our goal is to provide National Servant Event opportunities for our High School youth. These opportunities consist of:

1) Traveleing to another location within the continental United States and serving in some capacity in one of the Servant Events offered through our Synod.

2) Traveling to Alaska to assist the Alaska Missions for Christ group by providing a VBS style camp for native Alaskans using our own YIM materials.

Youth are considered for participation in these event based on regular attendance in the Divine Services as well as participation in the Local Service Projects offered
